Jordan (Ohio), Jim Banks (Ind.), Rodney Davis (Ill.), Kelly Armstrong (N.D.) and Troy Nehls (Texas) were chosen by McCarthy to join the select committee appointed by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to investigate the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol. All voted against impeaching President Donald Trump after the riots, and three of them voted to overturn the election results. Republican Rep. Liz Cheney (Wyo.) was previously appointed to the committee by Pelosi. |
