"It should certainly be the day when advocates of democracy and equal rights rip off their blinders and stop pretending that the court's conservative majority is in any way impartial or nonpartisan."
Even if the case expands to other executives and other schemes, the damage done would be a pittance compared to the damage done by Trump's presidency, and the much greater damage that could be done by another.
A Huawei executive was detained in Canada at the request of U.S. authorities two years ago. Now it's the Biden administration's headache — and it must follow the rule of law, even against an adversary that disdains it.
