An incel was charged with a hate crime for allegedly planning to shoot women at sororities
Tres Genco of Hillsboro, Ohio, was charged for his alleged plot to shoot women who belong to sororities throughout the state. Genco self-describes as an incel, or "involuntarily celibate."
The 21-year-old posted on "a popular incel website" from July 2019 to mid-March of last year. The incel movement, in case you don't know, is an online misogynist community made up of men who resent women, namely because they're preventing men from having the sex they apparently feel entitled to. In 2014, an incel shooter murdered six people and injured 14 in Isla Vista California, near UC Santa Barbara,
According to the charging document, Genco wrote a lot about shooting women, saying he'd "slaughter" women "out of hatred, jealousy, and revenge," and that he would "take away the power of life that they withhold from me." In 2019, he allegedly purchased tactical gloves, a bulletproof vest, a hoodie that said "revenge," a bowie knife, and a rifle. He also attended Army basic training in George, where he was discharged for entry-level performance and conduct.

Yet another of Trump's old buddies, old pals got arrested
Thomas Barrack, a once-close friend of former president Donald Trump's, who also led his 2017 inaugural committee, was arrested in California earlier this week for "acting and conspiring to act" as an agent of the United Arab Emirates. Barrack allegedly did this from 2016 to 2018.
He's also being accused of obstructing and lying to the FBI about his work on behalf of the UAE. He allegedly used his position as a friend and confidant to Trump to "advance the interest of the UAE" without registering as a foreign agent.
I want to make a joke about this but between the wildfires and the flooding and how mad you all got because yesterday I wrote "space is ass," I just can't muster up the energy. Plus, at this point in my life, anyone from or related to the Trump administration must pay me $20 every time they try to take up more real estate in my brain.
