| President Biden arrived at Dover, where he and first lady Jill Biden will meet with families of service members who were killed in Afghanistan last week, according to the White House. At noon, Biden will participate in what's known as a "dignified transfer" ceremony — an official proceeding for transferring the remains of members of the military killed in their deployments. Thirteen U.S. service members were killed in a terrorist attack outside the Kabul airport on Thursday believed to have been committed by the group Islamic State-Khorasan. |
