Forecast in detail Monday marked the first 90-degree day of September, and we could add a second and third today and Wednesday. While this is hotter than normal and disappointing for those awaiting autumn, few would complain about these conditions in July. Temperatures pull back a bit late this week as storm chances return. Over the weekend it's still warmer than normal but pretty welcoming for outdoor activities. Today (Tuesday): Mostly sunny and on the hot side again with highs in the upper 80s to low 90s. Humidity is moderate to high with dew points in the upper 60s to near 70. This is likely our hottest day of the week. You'll also probably notice a bit of haze again due to western wildfire smoke.
