(Nick Galifianakis for The Post) | Adapted from an online discussion. Hi, Carolyn: I have a friend who, every time we have a fight — which isn't often, but when they happen they're significant — brings up all the times I've "wronged" them in the past. I use quotation marks because some of these were truly my mistakes but others were, as other friends have weighed in, unfairly perceived wrongs that I've apologized for anyway because I tend to assume I'm at fault. How many times do I have to say I'm sorry before it gets through? Will it ever get through? — Always Sorry |
