| I hope you take the time to read this piece by Eve McDavid. She was diagnosed with cervical cancer when she was pregnant, and used that horrible experience to focus on how to educate children about sexual health, so they don't eventually find themselves in the same situation. You may think they're too young, or it's awkward, but there is wonderful advice in here about how this shouldn't be one talk, but many over the years. Read on, educate yourself and your kids. On a completely separate note, I know you probably have the holiday on your minds, and that's good — come on in and ask Meghan Leahy, our parenting advice columnist, anything. She'll answer your questions Wednesday, but you can post your anonymous questions now. Let's talk turkey. (I did just write that.) Also, if you read this in time, make sure to join a few of us Posties on Twitter Spaces at 1, where we'll share tips from traveling safely during the pandemic to hosting a gathering (with kids!). With that, I bid you a happy oh-my-goodness-there's-a-lot-to-do Tuesday before Thanksgiving. |
