Forecast in detail After one of our warmest Octobers on record, the cool weather rushing into the region this week will come as a shock. We had no days with highs below 63 degrees in October. This week, every day will be cooler than that, many by about 10 degrees. It's dry more often than not, setting aside some showers Tuesday and a chance of rain late Thursday into Friday. Today (Monday): Mostly sunny and brisk. The high of around 60 is a few degrees below average and the coolest we've seen this fall.
